Your new job! The COO Finance department delivers Finance related services to its stakeholders, i.e. Group Finance, CFO’s of countries and Wholesale Banking, Risk, Tax and Bank Treasury. These services encompass operations and change initiatives for accounting, reporting, utilities, data foundation and business advice services, including system, process, data and information management and analytics capabilities. The services are by design reliable, secure and in control. Change is delivered in accordance with the Finance strategy and implementation and decommissioning roadmap.

Who are we looking for?
An energetic expert with outstanding analytical skills and extensive knowledge in finance to support the implementation of a new reporting solution of ECB valuation. You're a master communicator, capable of bridging gaps between various stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include implementing new reporting solutions, process design, and translating these into IT solutions. You'll also coordinate content between different domains, ensuring that all stakeholder requirements are met. Your ability to present clear alternatives and impacts of solutions will be crucial in decision-making processes.

Please note, for this position, knowledge of GFRS is a must-have.

Your role involves coherent analyses:
• Requirements analysis: You elicit sets of coherent requirements. You take care that the requirements are complete, consistent, of good quality and that they are translated correctly in the design and are maintained and if necessary are adjusted if changes occur. You support the product owners and the squads in managing the backlog by translating and prioritizing the epics to features and together with the squad into user stories.
• Process analysis: You analyze the current situation, the problems that occur and the underlying causes. Based on this analysis you provide clear process designs 
• Information analysis: You analyze the necessary input, output and adjustment of data in the client processes. You analyze the information need. You investigate the quality of the captured data and come up with solutions to improve the quality.
• Risk analysis: You can translate the policy and regulation of ORM, Compliance and Legal to design solutions.

Besides this analysis your work includes:
• Results of the analysis are captured in the chosen standards through which the implicit is made explicit (BABOK / BCS standards).
• Your analysis are executed with the support of Business Analysis products as domain models, logical data models, impact analysis, feasibility studies etc.
• You support the delivery of solutions with an iterative and incremental agile approach by cooperating in refining the roadmap for overall solution(s) with partial deliveries (releases, minimal viable products) and by adjusting requirements and designs based on measurable experiences and feedback.
• You support the verification and validation of solutions by analysing and setting up acceptance criteria based on the requirements and by defining of scenario’s and use cases.
• You help to translate solution design into training material- and work instructions for employees.
• You introduce knowledge of best practices from inside and outside ING. You contribute to an optimal re-use of solutions.
• You take care that lessons learned and (best and next) practices from your assignments are made available to everyone. You actively work on deepening and broadening the overall knowledge and experience.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum HBO/WO level of working and thinking.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in (business) administration or similar.
  • Knowledge of GFRS.
  • Experience in Business Analysis and cross-domain knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in both business and IT, particularly in process management and financial services.
  • Competent in Agile and Lean methodologies.
  • A proactive learner, keen on applying external trends to practical knowledge.
  • Enjoys collaborative work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Committed to continuous personal and team improvement.

What We Offer:

  • An initial contract until the end of this year, with the possibility of extension.
  • A 36-hour work week.
  • A gross monthly salary between €5.060,00 and €7.300,00 (depending on experience).
  • Hybrid working model: transit and/or working from home allowance.
  • Holiday pay, pension and a 13th-month.
