OnePega Platform is part of the Banking Technology Platform and a key element of the scalable Tech foundation for ING’s strategy going forward. OnePega Platform has been in development for some years now and has matured to a great extent. Currently the platform is in use by multiple ING countries and has proven its value with many proof points.

The purpose of OnePega Platform is to enable ING Business (and their application development squads) to automate their processes / workflows and develop new customer services and propositions with a quick time to market and time to scale. We offer a ready to use platform with reusable components that enable them to assemble their proposition instead of building it from scratch. Now the platform has matured from a technical perspective, it is time to stabilize the platform further and make sure our consumers can trust our platform to be available and secure throughout the lifecycle of their applications.

The role of the ITIL coordinator for Platform Operations is key to the successful operations of OnePega Platform throughout ING. You are a part of a team working on (amongst others) infrastructure, Lifecycle Management, IT risk, including all ITIL processes. You will be responsible for both guiding the teams on the ITIL processes, as well as the stakeholder management around the rollout of new implementations on infrastructure, lifecycle management, and more. You’ll not only deal with selected consumers from all over the world, but also with departments that are related to further developing the platform (Infra/Risk/Finance etc). Persistence and relationship building is key in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for flawless execution on all ITIL processes (incidents, problems, changes, service requests), in collaboration with the responsible teams in the platform
• Work with (selected) consumers of the platform to rollout the new implementations on infrastructure, Lifecycle management, and more.
• Work together with other departments throughout ING (e.g. Infra, IT Risk) to ensure our platform to be available and secure every minute of the day
• Bring structural improvements to the platform by working with our internal squads to deliver an optimal platform experience

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in a consumer facing role, including working as a member of a professional services or systems engineering team
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn and apply best practices and lessons learnt on the OnePega Platform processes (and toolings)
• Knowledge of process improvement or process reengineering concepts
• (Working) experience with Pega(systems), as vendor for our process automation offering
• Ability to formulate customer specific solutions, share feedback and contribute in refining the platform roadmap and its offerings

What we offer:

• Initial contract assignment until 30 September 2024, with possible extension;
• 36 hour work week;
• Salaris range: €4.240,00 - €5.700,00 gross per month (depending on experience);
• Hybrid working, home working and travel reimbursement;
• Pension contribution, holiday payment and 13th month;
• ZZP is also possible if you are registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce, hourly rate €70,00 - €77,50 (all-in, excluding VAT)
