They are working with an offshore development team to develop the successor of our core application within Lease domain. Development and testing of the new application is within the responsibility of the vendor.

As this rebuild application is key to their business, we will organize a separate test stream to perform test activities in parallel. Test activities as in developing test cases as well executing these tests. Next to testing the new application from both technical- and functional perspective, we will perform integration- and system tests.

Together with this rebuild, they are in the process of migrating current application landscape towards new network. This migration of applications is expected to take place subsequently, so additional (repeating and/ or automated) test activities need to be set up accordingly.

Description of main activities:

• Define and document test cases/ test scripts.
• Automate test scripts wherever possible.
• Monitoring tests and report.
• Provide training and support.

As we are in the process of setting up a test community, there is room for initiative to:

• Be a driving force in the test community.
• Define and document the way of working and align with the other testers.
• Setup automated testing (regression, integration, load, performance) for UI and backend.
• With the following results (SMART).
• Define and document test cases/ test scripts.
• Automated test scripts wherever possible.
• Monitoring tests and report.
• Provide training and support

Skills:

• Proven experience in similar projects.
• Minimal required education and work level: University of applied sciences (Bachelor’s degree/HBO), preferably in IT.
• ISTQB certifications.
• Professional communication skills, both spoken and written, in English and Dutch.
• Communication skills in Dutch is a strong preference.
• Knowledge and experience of Agile and DevOps way of working.
• Experience in the Financial Industry / Banking sector / Lease.
• Excellent communication skills (i.e. convincing, critical, persistent, constructive).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You have the hands-on approach that is needed to get things done.
• Coaching skills to help your team members and colleagues to excel.
