Digital Workplace is responsible for the Modern Digital Workplace within ABN AMRO (30.000+ seats). They operate from the Netherlands and have their business users both inside and outside the Netherlands. They deliver not only the workplace devices but also a full suite of services to the standard workplace. The workplace is prepared for the new way of hybrid working that ABN AMRO wants to embrace as the new way of working looking forward. They enable and support their business users to work faster and smarter, for this we implemented an active adoption team that educates business users to be efficient and use the full potential of the Modern Digital Workplace. Microsoft 365 is one of the primary enablers of their workplace infrastructure.
The SharePoint Engineer will be a member of the Social Collaboration team - a dedicated DevOps IT delivery team (Block). The Platform Engineer works in a context of the delivery of new technology and services and keep existing services available. The Platform Engineer collaborates together with the Process and Project enabler, Product Owner and other Platform Engineers within the Block but also with Solution Architects and colleagues from other Blocks.
The work is based in the Netherlands, but in an international context so that the jobholder has to deal with cultural differences.
Social Collaboration is part of the Digital workplace Grid which delivers workplace services to the 30.000+ employees of ABN AMRO world-wide. The Social Collaboration team delivers the workplace's Social (Yammer), File collaboration (SharePoint Online and OneDrive), Video (Stream, Kaltura), Email and Productivity functions.

Within ABN AMRO they are expanding the Microsoft 365 (M365) platform to support the business users in various areas, based on their use cases, requirements and expectations. SharePoint is the central service for M365 products. Within the Social Collaboration team we monitor, control and develop SharePoint services for ABN AMRO. Your role within the Social Collaboration team will be: handle and verify new service requests on SharePoint, create future plans for SharePoint services and implement/determine governance on SharePoint usage. The scope for this assignment is analysing, planning, advising and implementing Microsoft SharePoint services. You need to be key person on the Microsoft SharePoint journey and team up in the Social Collaboration team ops responsibilities.
They are looking for you if you have proven skills within the M365 product suite and you have helped other companies excel on their M365 SharePoint journey and are a knowledgeable on SharePoint configuration/setup.
